Take a tour of the Moline Water Treatment Plant. We'll meet at the Water Treatment Plant located at 30 18th Street in Moline. Please note that this tour includes walking and several stair steps, so please plan accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.

Riverside Cemetery Historic Tour

Related imageMoline Cemetery Sexton, Todd Slater, will be our guide to the history of Moline told through the monuments and markers of the cemetery. Tour feature will include the history of the cemetery, designed by Chicago architect, William Le Baron Jenney (aka the "father of the skyscraper"), the story of Francis Jeffrey Dickens, Deere and Velie family memorial sites and Stephen's Mausoleum.

Wear your walking shoes and bring a bottle of water. The group will be meeting at the cemetery gatehouse at 10:15am. The tour is estimated to last up to an hour, with a question and answer session following.
