Library Card Application

You can now register for a library card through our website. Moline Public Library Card

To apply online:

  • You must live in a free library service area of Moline (if you are not sure if you live in a free service area of Moline, find more information about it on our Moline Residency page).
  • You must be able to provide a valid driver's license or state issued photo ID at first check out. If the ID does not have your current permanent address, further proof of residency will be required.
  • Applicant must be at least 13 years old.  Parents may not use the online application to register for a child aged 12 or under.
  • You must not already have a valid Moline Public Library card.

Getting Your Library Card

After submitting your application, your library card will be mailed to you in approximately one week. Once you receive your card, a valid driver's license or state issued ID displaying your current address must be shown at the circulation desk in the Library to activate the card.

Renewing or Replacing Your Library Card

Renewing or replacing your library card may only be done in person at the Circulation desk by completing an application and providing a valid form of ID with your current Moline address.   The fee to replace an unexpired card is $3.
