Fees for Non-Residents

In order to protect the rights of residents of Moline who pay taxes to support the library, nonresidents will pay for library cards in the same manner as residents. On January 10, 2019, the Moline Public Library Board of Trustees adopted an annual fee of $148 for borrowing privileges extended to nonresidents of Moline. This $148 fee represents the average annual household tax paid to the Moline Public Library. Arrangements can be made with the Library to make quarterly payments for the $148 non-resident card fee. Student Cards

Effective July 1, 2002, due to a change in Illinois State Law (adopted at 26 Ill. Reg. 5974), student cards will no longer be offered.

Change of Address

Please notify the library with any change of address. Your card must be presented at the time of checkout, renewal, or when requesting a reserve or interlibrary loan item.

Lost, Stolen or Damaged Library Cards

A fee of $3 is charged to replace any lost, stolen, or damaged library card. Please notify the library in the case of a lost or stolen card.
