The Friends is a volunteer group founded in 1990 who are dedicated to support and promote the Moline Public Library programs and services.
We will continue in this capacity as the Library faces budgetary challenges and technological demands in this century. We are funded through our membership dues, book and magazine sales, and other fund raising events. Your dues will ensure that the Friends can help the Moline Public Library continue to be one of our community’s finest resources. The funds we raise are used for materials, equipment, and services that the library would not otherwise be able to provide.
Anyone can be a Friend. If you are interested in joining us, please print and complete the membership form (PDF) and mail it today. Upon joining our Friends Foundation, you will receive a free item of your choice in our Friends Store and 50% off one item at Java Lab Grind and Dine Café, the coffee shop located in the Library.
