Come join us for this rare opportunity to hear a Mexican Estudiantina troupe perform her in the Quad Cities. Estudiantina troupes began as a group of students who started playing musical instruments and singing throughout the streets and alleys of Guanajuato, in an attempt to revive the old jovial Spanish student lifestyle from the 15th century in music, dress and spirit.

Chad Lewis, researcher and author, from Unexplained Research, LLC will speak about haunted places in Illinois. The talk will include photos, case histories, eyewitness accounts, ghost lore, and directions to haunted Illinois sites. Mr. Lewis is co-author of the book, The Illinois Road Guide to Haunted Locations. Copies of the book will be available for sale with book signing. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Moline Public Library. The program is open to the public and free of charge.
