Diabetic Retinopathy is the leading cause of new blindness in adults in the United States today. Early detection is a major factor in the prevention of visual loss.
The screening may determine if you have a retinal problem associated with macular degeneration.
This screening is sponsored by the Moline Lions in conjunction with Lions of Illinois Foundation and Illinois Retina Associates, S.C.
No registration is required.

Event Title: Get in the Game: READ!

Get in the Game, Read, Summer Reading Club starts June 9th and ends August 2nd.

Every child can be a winner when children from Tots through 6th grade register to be on the Moline Public Library reading team. Register at the Children's Desk, then receive a bag, a reading log plus other items to get started in the game.

Registration takes place June 9th-30th. Any reading done after June 9th counts towards the reading club program. All reading logs must be turned in by August 2nd to receive prizes. Be a winner join the reading team.
