The Moline Public Library now offers text messaging reference service (standart text messaging rates apply).

Here's how you do it:

  • Send a text to 66746
  • Start the body of the text with askmpl, then a space, followed by your question.
  • Example question: askmpl What are 3 great books on the civil war?
  • The Library will respond to your question as soon as possible (during normal open hours).
